Croghan Mountain stands at approximately 606 metres above sea level. The route offers wide countryside views and, in clear conditions, views towards the Irish Sea.
The terrain can be wet and exposed. Wear proper walking footwear, bring weather-appropriate layers and carry water. Message Naoki if you are unsure whether the route suits you.
Food afterwards
The proposed stop is The Goldmines Bistro at Woodenbridge Hotel and Lodge, Vale of Avoca, Garnagowlan, Arklow, County Wicklow, Y14 XT95. It has parking, group dining and a lunch menu without travelling into a busy town centre.
